Sweet peas are in their element in June. I grew a few heritage varieties from this year and adore the nearly neon pink Annie Gilroy and the Wild Italian 1699 the more purple one in the picture below. I will definitely grow these two again next year and want to find a pale rosy pink to go with them. Any ideas? Feed now and keep picking!

I’ve found lots of little black pollen bugs in my sweet peas this year. When this happens just leave them in the garage or somewhere dark with the door open for an hour or so and the pollen bugs will flee to the light.
