Henny Tate is a planting designer and artist based in the Wiltshire countryside.
After a career in interior design she re-trained at The English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden. Her planting has been described as naturalistic and romantic with an emphasis on creating interest in the garden throughout the seasons. She works on a few private projects at a time often collaborating with landscape architects, landscapers, rural artisans and artists.
This spring she has taken on a 2 acre walled garden to grow sustainable cut flowers and to experiment with the naturalistic perennials she so loves.
Inspired to record nature in different media she is exhibiting some of her botanical drawings in a show called Framing Nature in Bruton this autumn.
